I am a Canadian who was raised on a cattle ranch in Northern
BC, I have been around animals all my life.
I married a cowboy, horse trainer and we raised horses and cattle.
Doyle trained we both showed cutting horses. We have lived in
Central Oregon for 30 years between the two of us we have 6
children We decided to down size so we sold all of the cows and
most of the horses. We now have retired and Doyle's love is
working with metal making Bits & Spurs, Metal Art, like
Chandeliers and Gates etc. It is beautiful.
I got involved in raising a few dogs I first had Schipperke's and
then got a Jack Russell and had a few pups and then my female got
killed due to a horse accident and it was a couple of years before I
wanted another dog.
The Australian Shepherd was the next step. Every cowgirl needs
an Aussie a Truck and Horse Trailer......I discovered the Toy
Aussie's, they won me over by size and temperament. Now I only
have Aussies sold all the horse and horse trailer.
My goal is to raise quality Toys with the standards of Toy
Aussie's'. I had a wonderful mentor Ruth Vanderhoof who has
and helped me get started with quality dogs. I have been involved
since the early 1990's. I started with the top of the line of dogs at
the time and felt that I was off to a great start. I love the breeding
and having litters, it is just like Christmas every time as you do
not know what you are getting till they have arrived. A Surprise
every time. And I love the showing and the loyalty of the dogs.
Our little dogs are our kids and live in the house with us. Our
door is always open COME and visit us if you are in the area.
We are nestled in between the Three Sister Mountains and Smith
Rock the rock climbing Capitol of the world which is 150 Miles
east of Portland Oregon.
